We had Devon's 15 month appointment on March 6th. Here are his stats:
Weight: 19 lbs 8 oz (3%)
Height: 28 3/4 (5%)
Head Cir: 19 7/8 (97%)

The Pediatrician said that he's not worried about how small he is because he's doing exactly what Sabrina did in the growth category. He said, "This is just how you make them." He's doing really well walking all around. He's getting faster and faster every day. Last week he saw Sabrina bring her stool over to the sofa to climb up. Then he tried the same thing with the coffee table and managed to climb up and stand straight up in the air on our glass coffee table. Last night climbed up the stool onto the couch. Sabrina is always carrying these stools around so I'm really going to have to watch out. He's always trying to get into the toliet and go after the toliet paper. He's does "give me 5" now. When he hits your hand he says something that sounds like "YA!". He blows kisses and gives kisses with open mouth, tounge, and even makes a kissing noise. He's always coming up, crawling in my lap and hugging me. He's so cuddly and lovey, just like Sabrina. He attracts people when we are out. I'll be shopping and he'll be eyeing people in the grocery store. He does "come here" with one hand and point to the person with the other.

Sabrina is amazing. She cracks me up everyday. She says so many funny (they are funny because they are so darn smart) comments. She really knows what's up all the time. You can't put ANYTHING past her. I've learned. She loves to go spend time with Mimi and Papa by herself. On Friday night we were going to dinner with them. She told Dan and I that she didn't want us and Devon to come.

Time for Devon's nap...I'll write more later. I'll put some more pictures up later today.

Devon is totally walking. He just started standing up on his own and taking a series of steps. He gets himself back down to the floor pretty well and then starts crawling again. He's doing great.

Sabrina sat through our whole wedding video today and loved it. It was neat for her to see everyone there that she knows.

More later...Devon needs my attention.

HE DID IT! DAN WON! After all that hard work and time, he won. What a great and close race is was. A great job was done by all. There are actually a few votes left out there to tally, but Dan's opponent called to conceed. You can see the actual results by going to www.vote.danhub.com. Dan has a link to the election results site. People have been so supportive!! Thank for all the calls.

On voting day, we all went together as a family. Dan printed out a sample ballot for Sabrina. She wanted to vote for Daddy. The people at the polls were great and let her sit at the little booth. We have some great pictures Dan is going to post any second. (We are so behind in pictures.)

Devon is all over the place! He's crawling, pulling himself up on things, climbing up on things. He just started pointing to things and saying "hot, hot, hot". He points to the cat and says, "tat, tat, tat". He says, "Dada Dada, and Mama, and Na". He still has that husky little voice and two front teeth with the cutest little gap in between them. He's still growling all the time. He's insisting on feeding himself solids, still doesn't eat much, but he's doing a heck of a lot better than a few weeks ago. I guess, like Sabrina, baby food was just really never their thing...except for baby food sweet potatoes for Devon and baby food peaches for Sabrina. I still can't get Devon to eat fruit, but he loves veggies. I just let him make a mess with his food.

Sabrina is doing so well. She's officially potty trained. She's even staying dry at night now. We don't need to say a word. She also cleans up her toys most of the time. Preschool has been such a wonderful thing for her. She loves all her new friends. I'm so proud of her in every way. She's such a good listener, most of the time. I love that she helps me do things now. She's so great with her brother. She calls him, "Squirmy Wormy" or "Mr. D". She gives him hugs and kisses all the time. Sabrina finally met her new baby friend, Chase (Katie and Kelly's new baby.) She was in total awe of him and helped Auntie Katie out with things while she was feeding him. She likes to take care of her babies also.

Ma is up visiting. We are getting ready to go to a Holiday Fair. Dan took Sabrina up to the snow. He wants to get her climatized to it so he can start taking her snow boarding.

Devon has moved from "caterpillar-ing" to a crawl in the past two days. He can get where he wants to go now. He seems like he's trying to walk though. He's standing on things most of the time.

Sabrina has become the best little helper. She's being such a great listener and totally helping with her little brother. She gives him loves and kisses all the time. I'm loving them together. They have such a great dynamic so far. He laughes at her all the time.

We've decided to go down to California for Thanksgiving. We are going to try to Baptise Devon at our cute little Bodega Bay church. We are going to stay up here in Washington for Christmas. I'll be contacting many of you to see what your plans are so we can see you while we are down there.

We've come a LOOOONG way since my last post. Sabrina has been doing amazing in preschool. After about 3 classes of crying, she LOVES preschool, thank God! She is in a class of about 12 kids, only three are girls, including Sabrina. She has already make a few friends that she talks about all the time....and plays with every preschool day. Sabrina has been doing amazing with potty training. We are almost to the point of being able to say that she IS potty trained during the daytime....Thanks to Thomas The Train!!! When she goes a day at preschool without an accident, she gets a new train. This could get expensive ;-), but it's working! She hasn't had a #2 accident in almost 3 or 4 weeks! She's already got Toby, Percy and Salty. She'll get James if she makes it though tomorrow.

Devon is managing to move around a room. He's not crawling yet, but he's moving any way he can. He loves standing and dancing when he stands..and walking if you hold his hands. He's saying, Mama, Dada, NA (for Bina), and Papa. He's ALWAYS saying "NA". He LOVES his sister! She is so sweet to him...most of the time. They are so cute together. Devon now does the "milk" sign and I haven't really seriously been doing much signing to him. He is trying a bit more food without gagging. I've gotten him to eat avocado, green beans, and a graham cracker. The only baby food he'll eat is sweet potatoes and carrots. I can't get him to eat any baby cereal. I did get him to take a bite of Malt O Meal. He must be getting plenty of milk since he's a great size.

Dan has been on paternity leave for the past two weeks. He has two more weeks to go. It's been wonderful!! He had to postpone his paternity leave when Devon was born because of a new postion. He's been spending time with us and on his campaign for Newcastle City Councel.

Auntie Katie is 39 weeks and 3 days today, dialated to 3.5 and 95% effaced or so. Baby boy peanut will be here soon. Sabrina still thinks it's a girl. She just doesn't believe us.
